(Ar-Rahman) 55 : 14
خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ
He created the man from sounding clay just like the potter makes pottery.
Allah made the body of the first man, Adam, with His own hands with the clay brought by the Angel from different parts of the earth, just like the potter makes pottery with clay. See explanation 15: 26; 32: 7; and 38: 75-76.
